Nice Place!! Peaceful

  Juliane était très sympathique et toujours réactive, c’est agréable. Le petit déjeuner vegan en supplément est très bon.
La localisation est un peu excentrée mais la vue du balcon... read more est magnifique.
Le lit est un peu (trop) mou. L’air conditionné fait énormément de bruit, ce qui n’est pas très agréable la journée ou la nuit.
Lors de notre passage, beaucoup de travaux autour de la maison ce qui rendait l’accès à la piscine compliqué (vis-à-vis des ouvriers et du bruit environnant).
En résumé, un bon séjour, un rien trop cher pour ce que c’est.

O Loft é lindo e exatamente como descirto nas fotos. Mas nada supera estar aqui nesse ambiente tranquilo, com uma vista linda, piscina incrível e recomendo fechar com a anfitriã a alimentação. Mesmo eu não sendo vegana, fiquei apaixonada e maravilhada com a qualidade e sabor da comida.
Voltarei com certeza.

We were served a lovely vegan breakfast, had a wonderful massage and jacuzzi bubble bath and deep sleep in a very comfortable bed. Total decompression after a long flight!

The Loft is hugely spacious and stylishly decorated, set up above Rio in the lush and peaceful green area of Santa Teresa.

The only downside was we felt slightly stranded as sometimes taxis and Ubers were difficult to order and a bit disappointed that the swimming pool was out of action. However, everything else made up for this.

We recommend taking a cooking class; the Flavors of Brazil class was our favorite because we learned how history impacted the foods locals eat. The rest of the trip we could recognize dishes at restaurants and understand their origins. So cool! Juju made sure we had everything we needed and suggested amazing alternatives for when rain cancelled our plans. This enabled us to keep away from crowds, interact with locals, and see the city from a unique perspective. And soaking in the bath after a day of exploration was the perfect way to wind down for the night. The home and community that Juju has created and shares every day with her guests is truly what made our trip memorable! Thank you Juju!

This beautiful property had a lush pool/outdoor area, surrounded by breathtaking nature and even a mango tree. The hosts' pets were certainly a highlight of our visit, especially Loki the dog who showed us around our first day. We recommend trying the breakfast service, which was thoughtfully curated by Julianne. Our stay was unforgettable, and we hope to return in the future!

This place exceeds the expectation. It's so beautiful and magical. The ambiance, location, and views make this place so special and unique.
Ariel and Juliane add another dimension to the experience. I briefly met Juliane before her Europe trip. She got me introduced to several art&culture groups and hiking groups. It helped me to explore the city in no time. I can call myself a Carioca now 😀
Ariel was always there to address my concerns. He offered his personal phone wifi when there was a brief internet outage. He paid for services when I ran out of cash. Never expected this level of hospitality from airbnb hosts.
Food service is another perk of staying here. Rosy is an awesome cook. She and Terri served delicious breakfast and lunch with professional touch.
The overall experience is very rewarding.

But most importantly... THE FOOD.. sweet Jesus baby Mary and joseph... This is some of the best, healthiest food I've had, not only in Rio, not Only in Brasil, but in my whole life... I was well nourished for every day and I couldn't believe it was vegan.

Julianne and Ariel are great hosts. It’s a way of life and not just about hosting. Always on hand to help, offer insider tips and make their guests feel part of the family during your stay. Had a fab morning with Julianne and other guests grabbing some healthy breakfast in Santa Teresa before absorbing the sensory overload of a Carnival Blocco in full swing. There is a super delicious and healthy restaurant at the place “soul rebel” which you can feed from all meals. The views and history aspects close by and from the place itself are indeed breathtaking. Sugar loaf and Christ the redeemer are just at the corner! The owner Juju is a super woman: a vegan chef, makes 100/100 in hospitality skills and is very friendly and down to earth person. I came in with my baby, Juju made sure to think out of the box. She’d prepared our loft with kid’s toys, diaper changer, baby swimming pool - which was all a great surprise for us. Juju also helped on taxi drivers recommendation! In general, she made us feel at home as part of her family. I will never forget our superb stay with her, and hopefully we will be back many times again!

  This is not classic pay-per-sleep place. This is a place where you come as a stranger and leave as a friend. What makes difference are people. Juju and Ari have... read more wonderful family and they made harmonic and peaceful oasis, where you could be a part of it. They were always here for us, and help us in one very stressful situation. After a day spent in hectic jungle city of Rio it was perfect experience to drink beer and watch city lights from terrace, or to wake up in very soft comfortable bed in shadow of bamboo trees, or just to play with cute friendly dogs. Be surrounded by all those nature and wonderful people helped us to charge our batteries again. Only minus is that we couldnt stay longer. One advice for other guests: Bring your mosquito sprays, it could help a lot!

Em uma parte do Loft tivemos uma vista panorâmica para a cidade do Rio e outra parte para a natureza. (O ponto alto é o Jacuzzi que dá a impressão de estar tomando banho no meio da mata).
Não deixe de experimentar o café da manhã da Juju. Cada dia tivemos uma nova surpresa e a gente ficava ansioso pra descobrir o menu do dia. Uma verdadeira explosão de sabores com ingredientes locais escolhidos e preparados com muito amor pela mente criativa da Juju!
Foi uma experiência única e sem dúvidas voltaremos em nossas próximas estadias no Rio! Merci beaucoup Juju e família! ♥️

Par ailleurs, il y a un petit restaurant excellent à 100m de chez eux, ainsi qu’un petit bar très sympathique. Le loft est décoré avec goût et la vue est époustouflante. Juliane avait pris soin d’y déposer quelques jouets pour enfants et notre fils était ravi ! Le petit déjeuner de Juliane est juste une merveille. En tant qu’hôtes, ils ont été très réactif et accueillant, nous ont donné de bons conseils et nous ont permis de rester chez eux en attendant notre vol du soir. Si nous revenons à Rio, nous reviendrons chez Juliane c’est certain !
